Join Margaret Humphrey, violin, and Asako Hirabayashi, harpsichord, as they take us on a musical and philosophical tour through works by Biber, Pisendel and Walter, culminating in Bach’s glorious accompanied violin sonata BWV 1016.
SUN., FEB. 21, 2 pm — BACH, BANTER, AND BADINERIE!
Soprano Sarah Brailey’s voice will shine again in Bach’s wonderful cantata Ich habe genug BWV 82a. The program also features a new version of Bach’s famous B Minor Suite for flute, arranged for recorder and strings and performed by Artistic Director, Matthias Maute. This program of musical revelry and rejoicing will carry us through a sparkling journey of satisfaction and joy.
