In Collaboration with Cantus
Time travel with the Bach Society of Minnesota and Cantus as the artists explore the life of Till Eulenspiegel, the eternal prankster, as he crosses a battle-weary Europe during the 30 Years’ War. Loosely based on the novel by Daniel Kehlmann, follow Till as he braves a dangerous world, rubbing shoulders with the ragged, regimental, and royal alike. Featuring instrumental and vocal works from across Europe and throughout time, this is a must-see concert.

Now in its 27th season, the “engaging” (New Yorker) low-voice ensemble Cantus is widely known for its trademark warmth and blend, innovative programming and riveting performances of music ranging from the Renaissance to the 21st century. The Washington Post has hailed the Cantus sound as having both “exalting finesse” and “expressive power” and refers to the “spontaneous grace” of its music making. The Philadelphia Inquirer called the group nothing short of “exquisite.” Check out their website to learn more!
