Bach Society of Minnesota’s musicians returned to the stage with a warm welcome from audience members this past Friday at Sundin Music Hall in Saint Paul.
Bach Society of Minnesota musicians, Paul Boehnke. harpsichord, Margaret Humphrey, violin, Rebecca Humphrey, cello, and Matthias Maute, recorder, returned to the stage last Friday for their first live performance of 2021.
The energy between performers and audience built with each section of the performance, served up in four courses. A standing ovation and an encore of beloved hymn Morning Has Broken, a song that shares the same 90th anniversary as BSM, left the audience with a renewed sense of life and hope for the future, having safely shared live music together again.
Bach Society of Minnesota created a warm and inviting environment because of their volunteers. Whether selling tickets and merchandise, or handing out programs, our volunteers set the stage for the BSM experience. We couldn’t do it without you!
We are always looking for people to join the BSM community! If you are interested in volunteering you can sign up on our website
